All-around envelope “Hunter Green” family room makes neighbors green with envy!

My clients have some fantastic pieces of art inherited from the wife’s artist grandmother. When she showed me her favorite piece and they told me they were not afraid of darker rich colors I knew a rich, dark green would be fabulous as a wall color backdrop. I suggested Benjamin Moore hunter green, 2041–10. My client wondered out loud what it it would look like to also paint the ceiling that color. Of course I thought it was perfect for that room!

I believe big art gives big impact. And that dark colors do NOT make a room look smaller! The RIGHT color is the RIGHT color. When the color is perfect (and there is good lighting) any color will work, the room will feel right and look great.
